– For your consideration is this 2008 Fender Telecaster Custom Shop vintage reissue electric guitar neck.
– This is a rare opportunity to buy an unfinished and incomplete maple neck denoted in pencil as a “MID 50-s” spec. Tele neck. However, if you reference the measurements below, they are more akin to Fender’s Nocaster specs.
– The neck is not dated or stamped, as it was purchased directly from a Fender Custom Shop employee and floor manager. However, all construction details are clearly indicative of Fender Custom Shop instruments from the era. A Relic neck would have a Relic stamp, and though while it’s irrelevant, it is unknown if that would have been stamped this early in the neck-making process.
– This neck is unfinished, with no lacquer clear coat, though it has been fretted and fitted with a blank uncut nut. The back of the headstock has been pre-drilled for vintage spec. Kluson style tuners, as well as pre-drilled for neck plate screws.
– Neck measurements: .962″ depth at 1st fret, .994″ depth at 12th fret, 1.654″ nut width
– Weight: 1.2 lb.
