– For your consideration is this 2001 Bill Antel Futura baritone electric guitar.

– This incredible 1-of-a-kind creation was made from old growth African mahogany ‘Korina’ and quarter sawn Brazilian rosewood by Mr. Bill Antel, a Southern California luthier whose elite craftsmanship has earned him a cult following of sorts. Bill Intel had access to the best vintage guitars and finest grade materials, and he resultantly produced incredible instruments and parts during the ‘80s and ‘90s for quite a few of LA’s who’s who.

– This wild 27.25” scale length baritone guitar features; nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a single DiMarzio DP197 virtual PAF Zebra pickup (6.89 kOhm), jumbo frets in a Brazilian rosewood slab fretboard, a Gumby headstock with the “Antel” banner decal, 3-on-a-Side individual Kluson style tuners, a stop tail piece intentionally distanced 7” from the tune-o-matic bridge, and all gold hardware.

– This baritone was built by Bill Antel at the direction of Brent Magnano of Guitar Oasis. Being a long time admirer of Bill’s work, Brent had the foresight to work with Bill as much as possible.

– While the CTS pots are dated mid-2001, suggesting it was finished and finally assembled at that time. It is believed this guitar was built in the mid-‘90s.

– Neck measurements: 1 11/16” nut width, .875” depth at 1st fret, 1.00” depth at 12th fret

– Weight: 8.4 lbs.
