– For your consideration is this 1996 Martin D-18 Standard acoustic guitar.
– This nice D-18 Standard series acoustic guitar, serial number 591730, is in very good 100% all original condition.
– A wonderful acoustic guitar with the most classic of appointments, this D-18 Standard features; a solid Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, a Rosewood fretboard, and X-bracing. This example has been upgraded with a nice under-the-bridge transducer pickup. The quality Schaller tuners hold much better than a vintage-style machine.
– Very clear and robust in projection, this D-18 is an all-around wonderful sounding guitar.
– While this guitar is in nice all original cosmetic condition, there are small pressure cracks in the waist on the leg side: pictured. This is a notorious place for structural weakness, and the cracks are unrepaired though very stable.
– Neck measurements: 1.685″ nut width, .825″ neck depth at 1st fret, .876″ neck depth at 12th fret.
– Very low action which measures: .045″ low-E at 1st fret, .090″ low-E at 12th fret.
– Includes a non-original hard case.
