– For your consideration is this 1988 Selmer baritone saxophone.
– This very nice 100% all original low A example, serial number 971025, includes all of the original hangtags and an era-appropriate Signet hard case.
– It displays expected use with typical superficial wear. The most noticeable flaw is an observable dent in the bottom of the bow and bow guard, please see pics. The bell is in very nice cosmetic condition though it is not perfect. Overall, the all original lacquer finish is in good shape, with moderate superficial surface wear all over the entirety of the body, the neck, the bow, etc. Underneath the serial number stamp, “CUSD, C1022022, 1-88” is poorly engraved.
– Functionally, the horn is in very excellent working order, all keys and valves work great. Mechanically, it’s in perfect working order. Since it has been in storage for many years, it will need a typical maintenance service prior to proper use.
– Includes the original mouthpiece, original hangtags and paperwork.
– Likely included the non-original Signet case since purchased new.
