– Perhaps SoCal’s most unsung builder and luthier, Mr. Bill Antel made incredibly well-crafted and refined instruments. This body is from his personal collection
– This is a slab body ’51-’53 P Bass body specs. with an incredible looking 2-piece center seam swamp ash body. Does not include the black bakelite pickguard or corresponding P Bass neck, though both of which are listed separately.
– Pin router holes and drop router marks evident in Antel’s historically accurate work.
– This is a 2-piece swamp ash body, sealed and ready for finish.
– Very clean, all original, never assembled, with holes pre-drilled for the bridge (since it’s strings through) and neck plate only.
