– For your consideration is this vintage 1980’s Jazz Bass electric bass guitar body.
– This vintage reissue body, estimated to have been made in the ’80s, is incomplete condition never having been assembled.
– Based upon the crisp cavities, it is likely a 2-piece alder body. There is a non-centered seam that appears to have opened on the front of the body: currently stable and no evidence of it migrating through. The routes and cavities are particularly vintage accurate: with the drop router patterns mimicking those of a vintage ’60s Jazz Bass.
– The Lake Placid Blue finish does not have a clear coat, so the color is unfaded and vibrant.
– While the pedigree is unknown, this is a very nice body most certainly made by a seriously skilled maker.
