– For your consideration is this vintage 1979 Fender Bassman Ten electric guitar amplifier chassis.
– This all original and complete Bassman Ten chassis, serial number F953333, was removed from a completely mis-matched ’72 Bassman Ten amplifier cabinet.
– With newer Groove Tubes 6L6 power tubes, this amp is in excellent working order. It retains the original electrolytic caps, so perhaps a traditional service would be in order at some point: though not currently necessary.
– All transformer date codes reflect a 1979 production. All capacitor date codes denote the same 1979 production codes.
– For whatever reason, a Fender employee applied SIX serial number labels to this chassis.
– Perfect for restoring a modified or incomplete Bassman Ten, this chassis would also be a great foundation for a completely fresh build.
