– For your consideration is this one-of-a-kind vintage 1978 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar neck.
– There may not be another Fender neck like this in existence: procured from a long time Fender Fullerton factory employee, this ’78 Strat neck features a small profile pre-CBS style headstock, a skunk stripe bullet truss rod construction, and a bound maple fingerboard.
– Pre-drilled for a Micro Til adjust washer, this bullet truss rod neck is also pre-drilled for F-tuners.
– There is a slight remnant of a date stamp that appears to have been intentionally removed a the factory.
– The blocky neck has yet to be carved and sanded into shape, however, it was has been fretted so that the white binding could be scraped away to create nibs. The dot inlays are installed, as is an uncut nut. There is a small area of white binding that is missing from bass side between the nut and 2nd fret.
– Neck measurements: 1.009″ depth at 1st fret, .993″ depth at 12th fret, 1.630″ nut width
