– For your consideration is a vintage 1978 Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man Echo/Chorus/Vibrato effects pedal.
– Perhaps the best analog delay unit ever made, the versatile 5-knob version of the EH Memory Man produces 550ms of wonderfully rich delay.
– The Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man is the first pedal to use TWO Panasonic MN3005 bucket brigade device chips. The MN3005 is a highly coveted BBD chip which is revered for its particularly great fidelity.
– Aside from a replacement 2-prong cable swapped decades ago, this is a very nice 100% all original example.
– This is the very rare original version of the Deluxe Memory Man which was later reissued several times over by EH in the ’90s/’00s. As is this case with most everything in audio, nothing sounds quite like the real thing.
