– For your consideration is this vintage 1977 Erickson & Sons acoustic electric guitar by Eric Erickson.
– This very rare 1-of-a-kind dreadnought guitar, serial number 104, features incredible Brazilian rosewood back, sides, and solid neck.
– A fantastic sounding instrument, the X-braced D-size body displays a Spanish foot within, as well as additional top bracing which really enhances the guitar’s projection. With a very clear and beautiful tone, this guitar is sweet in sound with impeccable articulation: with a tonal footprint landing somewhere in between a Martin D-28 and Gibson Dove. The Piezo style under-the-bridge transducer pickup sounds very good and appears to be era appropriate: it is controlled by a simple master volume/ouput.
– Adorned with ornate Abalone marquetry and beautiful floral fretboard inlays, the solid peghead features a stunning carnation detail.
– The Brazilian rosewood back, sides, and neck are in perfect structural condition with no cracks whatsoever. There are several small top cracks which have been expertly repaired: one crack stemming from the bass side of the bridge, and another two on the top near the output jack (possibly related to the imprint damage seen between them.)
– Neck measurements: 1.826″ nut width, .842″ neck depth at 1st fret, .890″ neck depth at 12th fret.
