– For your consideration is this vintage 1976 Terada dreadnought acoustic guitar.
– This wonderful lawsuit era Martin D-41 inspired copy features ornate binding, fancy fingerboard inlays, and a 3-piece rosewood back.
– With abalone style 45 fingerboard inlays, an abalone rosette, and matching abalone top binding, this guitar is really quite handsome.
– It has a solid spruce top with X-bracing. The rosewood stained back and sides are attractive and complement the peghead veneer. It features a refined build-quality unique to early MIJ lawsuit era guitars.
– Wonderfully clean Martin-esque tone, this is a great sounding instrument.
– All of the (6) individual tuning machines are original, however, 1 is missing the case cover and another has a Ping cover in place of the original plate which features a flower motif.
– This is a no-issues instrument, with no breaks, no cracks, and no repairs. It does have a significant top ding, which is pictured.
– Neck measurements: 1.724″ nut width, .939″ depth at 1st fret, 1.082″ depth at 12th fret.
– The original case is indicative of those produced in the very early 1960s.
