– For your consideration is this vintage 1973 White LW-100 amplifier head and matching 4 x 12″ speaker cabinet.
– This incredibly RARE matching set, serial number 121, is in excellent original condition.
– The straight 4×12″ speaker cabinet features a quartet of rare Fane 122/17G 50 watt speakers with corresponding White custom labels.
– This amp has been completely serviced and is studio ready!
– These “White” branded amps were designed and built by Mat Mathias of MATAMP (Orange), and sold in stores around England, which were owned and operated by Bill White. The heads themselves are quite rare, however, finding an original matching half stack is nearly impossible.
– Very British, clearly quite Orange-esque in sound, this amp is loud, clear, present, and yet musical with incredible tonal versatility.
