– For your consideration is this vintage 1972 Fender Precision Bass electric bass guitar neck.
– This ’72 P Bass maple neck, with neck heel stamp “AUG 72”, is in poor original condition. The original truss rod has pushed the skunk stripe out from the maple neck. It appears that someone attempted to repair this by sanding the rosewood inlay to even out the playing surface, alas a foo’s errand.
– It has a professionally installed non-original brass nut.
– Neck measurements:.857″ depth at 1st fret, .988″ depth at 12th fret, 1.599″ nut width
– Weight: 1.6 lbs.
