– For your consideration is this vintage 1972 Colorsound Sustain Module compressor effects pedal.
– This very nice 1st generation variant features the earlier 2-button footswitch design. By 1973, the Colorsound Sustain Module would evolve to have just a singular normal/sustain switch.
– A quartet of BC169 NPN silicon transistors occupies this 1st gen. circuit, which is 1 more than the more common single switch version: it is consequently a slightly more involved schematic, with a larger phenolic board and 5 additional components.
– This pedal is in very good all original condition. It works perfectly, and sounds really good.
