– For your consideration is this vintage 1969 Marshall JMP 50w Model 1987 Lead and Bass amplifier head.
– This incredible sounding player’s example, serial number S1318A, has been slightly modified in fairly thoughtful manner.
– Recently serviced with several caps and tubes having been replaced, this amp now sounds unreal.
– While it does include all of the original knobs, none of them have the brass caps. An entirely new set of reissue knobs is currently installed. The originals are included as well.
– The back panel has an Ohm selector mod and a plugged non-original hole. The cabinet had a larger logo pinned into place, which required the addition of many extra holes on the front of the cabinet. A non-original reissue small logo is currently installed.
