– For your consideration is this vintage 1968 Marshall 1935A Bass model electric guitar speaker cabinet.
– This particular basketweave example, serial number 38493, is in incredibly fine all original condition and was signed by Jim Marshall.
– The 1935A cabinet features a quartet of matching pre-Rola Celestion G12M 20w T1511 model greenback speakers, all of which are date stamped “15GA”.
– All the original cones are intact, and the speakers sound absolutely incredible. This is a quintessential Marshall cabinet with respect to era, appointments, and most importantly, the incredible sounding speakers.
– The plastic “Bass” logo in the upper left corner appears to have been removed many decades ago.
– The (4) original speakers measure: 8.5 kOhm, 8.7 kOhm, 8.8 kOhm, 10.2 kOhm
– Cabinet dimensions: 29.5″ x 13.5″ x 29.5″
– Cabinet weight: 85.5 lbs.
