– For your consideration is this vintage 1968 Fender Twin Reverb Amp electric guitar combo amplifier.
– This very clean 100% original example, serial number A12304, is a very well preserved specimen which retains all of the original RCA vacuum tubes, the original Black Panel era footswitch, and the matching Victoria protective vinyl cover.
– Original where it matters most, this head has been serviced with entirely fresh electrolytic capacitors: and it’s currently a highly functional and low-noise amp. Studio ready and sounding great, this amp is perfect for collectors and players alike.
– Very much the same as a Black Face version, this is more like a mid-’60s Twin Reverb that those which came thereafter. All transformer codes indicate production between late ’67 through early ’68: -606-7-47, -606-8-03, 606806, 606810.
– The black tolex and blue line grill cloth are in excellent condition. A wonderful looking example.
– Due to exorbitant weight of 63 lbs., non-original casters were added to the bottom of the cabinet. While not original, it’s undeniable these wheels kept the amp from being banged around too much, hence the wonderful cosmetic condition.
