– For your consideration is this vintage 1968 Fender Bassman Amp AB165 electric bass guitar tube amplifier head.
– This very clean 100% original example, serial number A46868, is a very well preserved specimen which retains all of the original RCA vacuum tubes.
– Original where it matters most, this head has been serviced with entirely fresh electrolytic capacitors: and it’s currently a highly functional and low-noise amp. Studio ready and sounding great, this amp is perfect for collectors and players alike.
– Very much the same as a black panel Bassman, this is more like a mid-’60s Bassman that those which came thereafter. All transformer codes were produced in ’67: -606-7-36, 606741, 606748.
– The black tolex and blue line grill cloth are in excellent condition. A wonderful looking example.
