– This very nice original example, serial number T193, includes the original brown alligator hard case.
– Finished in a stunning Ink Blue (dark blue metallic), the Basswood offset body is stamped “NOV 9 1965” in the neck pocket. The original maple neck is natural, and has been professionally refretted with larger frets: which is likely because Mosrites are notorious for having very small factory flat frets. It consequently plays great and feels fantastic.
– This database suggests that Ink Blue is perhaps one of the more rare custom colors.
– The original Mosrite embossed pickups sound amazing, and measure 12.08 kOhm in the neck and 11.92 kOhm in the bridge.
– 12-string neck measurements: 1.662″ nut width, .826″ neck depth at 1st fret, .830″ neck depth at 12th fret.
