– For your consideration is this vintage 1966 Mosrite Ventures MK I electric bass guitar.
– This very nice 100% all original 4-bolt neck plate example, serial number 6806, includes the original rectangular alligator hard case. Do not confuse this version with the later 3-bolt example, as this is much more aligned with the production specs. of the earlier Ventures guitars.
– A very nice example in well preserved condition, this bass features both a sunburst body and neck finish with a solid black peghead.
– A great feeling bass with a vibrant and versatile tonal range, this is a highly underrated vintage instrument.
– This iteration features full Mosrite hardware: Mosrite M tuning machines, M knobs, and injection-molded Mosrite-branded pickup covers.
– Pickup measurements: 4.49 kOhm (bridge), 6.86 kOhm (neck)
– Neck measurements: 1.537″ nut width, .938″ depth at 1st fret, .878″ depth at 12th fret.
