– For your consideration is this vintage 1966 Gibson B25-12N 12-string acoustic guitar.
– This 100% all original example, serial number 436866, is in fair cosmetic condition and includes a non-original chipboard case.
– While all original and unmodified, this B25-12N exhibits several serious structural issues resulting from the inherent tension applied to both the body and neck from years of being, well, a twelve string guitar.
– The neck has a serious bow, the top is cracked in several places, and the back has a stable seam separation. Perhaps these can all be rectified via repair?
– It is not playable as-is due to the nature of the extreme string height.
– Neck measurements: 1.995″ nut width, .897″ neck depth at 1st fret, 1.046″ depth at 12th fret.
