– For your consideration is this vintage 1966 Fender Jaguar electric guitar.
– This 100% all original player’s grade example, serial number 168853, is a recent relic from a bygone era: forged alongside the same raw rebellion found in the spirit of Grunge music, while also birthed in an America that suckled from combination fast food restaurants. During this weird slice of time, at this seemingly unfathomable intersection, a previous owner carved “I FUKIN [sic] WORKED FOR KENTACOHUT, PUNK!” directly into the top of their ’66 Fender Jaguar.
– The previous owner purchased this guitar in Los Angeles in 1994, which somewhat pinpoints this ’90s stylized folk art to having been applied between 1992-1994, as combination restaurants first started appearing around ’91.
– Aside from the obvious exclamation, which was carved in blue ball point pen, this early block inlay Jaguar is in good all original condition. There is evidence of fading from several stickers which were on both the front and back of the body, but there have been no modifications made to the originality of the instrument otherwise.
– It includes a non-original hard case and the original long vibrato arm whammy bar.
– Pickup measurements: 6.26 kOhm (bridge), 6.50 kOhm (neck)
– Neck measurements: 1.630″ nut width, .876″ depth at 1st fret, .907″ depth at 12th fret
– Weight: 8.2 lbs.
