– For your consideration is this mid-’60s Gibson SG Standard hardshell case by Lifton
– This smooth black exterior with yellow interior case, primarily accompanied a 1965, 1966, or 1967 Gibson SG Standard or Special vintage electric guitar. By 1968 an SG would come with a rectangular case.
– This case is in poor original condition: it retains only 1 complete working latch, the other 3 missing the swinging clasp. The original handle is present and intact, and all hinges are in perfect working condition.
– The previous owner wrote his name, “Fabian Mayorga,” in large font in magic marker within the case.
– The accessory compartment is missing.
– It is structurally solid, and remains mostly original. It will certainly complement your vintage SG.
