– For your consideration is this vintage 1965 Fender Model 6G15 Reverb tube amplifier effects unit.
– This very nice original example, serial number R08421, was recently serviced and is currently studio-ready.
– The two transformers date to early-mid 1965, and the “OF” tube chart date stamp indicates a mid-’65 completion. The vintage spring reverb tank dated to late-’66, which suggests it’s not original to this unit though it is identical to the one that would have been factory installed.
– It has been professionally serviced, and had the electrolytic caps replaced. Additionally, hand-picked NOS tubes were installed.
– A perfect complement to any black face era Fender amp, and also just a must-have tube reverb unit.
