– 1965 Fender Mustang vintage original electric guitar neck
– The original ’65 neck with factory applied nitrocellulose lacquer finish is date stamped “MAR 65.”
– Subtle flame figuring throughout the maple
– The bottom 1/2″ of the neck heel platform has been replaced with non-original maple for unknown reasons. The following, however, are original; decal, tuning machine ferrules, nut, frets, pearloid dot inlays, etc. It does not include tuners nor a string tree.
– Aside from the body footprint where it meets the neck heel being replaced, the truss rod bolt has caused a stress crack above where the truss rod bolt mounts.
– The neck date stamp is partially obscured by the removal of the bottom portion.
– Neck measurements: 1 1/2″ nut width, .760″ neck depth at 1st fret, .950″ neck depth at 12th fret
– Weight: 1.2 lbs
