1963 Mosrite The Ventures Model MK I Vintage Electric Solidbody Guitar – RARE 100% All Original Early Type 2 Large Logo Vibratmute Bolt Plate in Candy Apple Red w/ Orig. Hard Case (0275)

– For your consideration is this vintage 1963 Mosrite The Ventures Model MK I electric solidbody guitar.
– This incredibly rare custom color instrument, serial number 0275, is in 100% all original condition with the original brown alligator hard case. Very interestingly, this rare Mosrite features a matching neck which has an opaque peghead and Red sunburst neck.
– It is widely acknowledged that Mosrite used a sequential serial number scheme, which would suggest this is one of the first several hundred Mosrite Ventures models. However, it is actually one of the very first from Mosrite’s venture into more colorful guitars, as the Type 2 version of the MK I begins production around serial number 0200.
– Once again, this ’63 Mosrite Vibramute is in 100% all original condition. The original Centralab pots are stamped “134 6349,” which is from the same batch as those installed in many side jack versions!
– Highly well preserved, this is an issue-free Candy Apple Red Vibramute Type 2 is excellent cosmetic condition. There are no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, no finish issues, and not a single screw changed: this is a high level collector’s grade specimen.
– It works perfectly and sounds wonderful. The neck pickup measures 246.90 kOHm (which is an incorrect reading, though it works fine) and nicely matches the neck pickup which measures 11.79 kOhm. Both are robust and beautiful sounding with superb fidelity.
– Neck measurements: 1.573″ nut width, .773″ neck depth at 1st fret, .778″ neck depth at 12th fret.
