1963 Fender Tremolux Amp 6G9-B Vintage Electric Guitar Tube Amplifier Head – Original ’63 Blonde Pre-CBS Piggyback Amp Vintage White Tolex Re-Cover (04509)

– For your consideration is this vintage 1963 Fender Tremolux Amp 6G9-B electric guitar tube amplifier head.
– This particular original player’s example, serial number 04509, is in perfect working order.
– The original blonde tolex has been replaced with a vintage black vinyl covering, and the original grill cloth was changed from a very similar material to a non-original wheat color sparkle cloth. The original baffle has had several holes added, all 4 of which aren’t easily visible through the non-original grill cloth.
– While the cabinet has been heavily modified, the chassis and electronics are all original! The electrolytic caps appear to have ben replaced in ’64, which is likely when the cabinet was “upgraded.” All of the tubes are original, and all cabinet hardware is as well. The “dog bone” handle is in very excellent condition, as are all the white “cupcake” knobs.
