– For your consideration is this vintage 1962 Pedersen Electronics W-15 tube amplifier.
– Made in Lafayette, CA this incredibly high-quality mono amp retains original vintage Genelex Gold Lion KT66 power tubes, Raytheon 6SN7 preamp tubes, a 6J5 voltage amp tube, and a GE 5V4G rectifier tube.
– With very few examples having been produced, not much is definitively documented. The original spec. sheet refers to the W-15 as a 16 ohm laboratory model. Reference the sheet in the photo gallery.
– Powered by a pair of KT66 power tubes, the manufacturer’s 15w belies the expected 30w output.
– The original power cable was replaced with a nice heavy duty 3-prong.
