– For your consideration is this vintage 1960s JBL D140F electric bass guitar speaker.
– This particular example, serial number 51846, is in nice all original condition.
– The JBL D130F/D140F was commonly used in the 1964 Fender Vibroverb, as well as, Showman and Dual Showman models.
– While it has been professionally re-coned using a JBL kit, another re-cone may be necessary, as the speaker did not produce a measurable kOhm reading.
– The original cork speaker gasket is intact, but the red terminal cap is missing.
