– For your consideration is this vintage 1960 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar.
– This attractive player’s grade example, serial number 48746, is an incredible instrument, and remains original where most important. Aside from overspray on the neck, alongside an accurate spec. decal replacement, this ’60 Strat is highly original. It is missing the shielding plate and the volume pot has been replaced.
– The original 3-tone sunburst finish over alder is vibrant with natural patina and decades of handsome authentic playing wear. Pencil date in spring cavity reads “3/60”.
– Pot codes are 304 5946.
– All 3 black bobbin pickups sound incredible, and respectively measure; 6.45 kOhm (bridge), 6.18 kOhm (middle), 5.74 kOHm (neck).
– Neck measurements: 1.624″ nut width, .785″ neck depth at 1st fret, .956″ neck depth at 12th fret.
– It’s very lightweight at 7.4 lbs.
– Non-original hard case.
