– This particular example, serial number 55A116, is in fair original condition, and includes the original matching reel hubs.
– Announced in late 1953, the Ampex 350 was specifically designed for the recording studio.
– All transport controls were electrically switched via push-buttons, allowing remote control functionality.
– Speeds of 3 3/4 and 7 1/2 ips or 7 3/4 and 15 ips with a frequency response up to 15kHz.
– Features 3 heads for 1-Channel 1/4″ tape.
