1946 Bell & Howell Model 179 Vintage Film Projector Tube Amplifier – 100% Original Amp Head, Perfect Conversion Project

– For your consideration is this 1946 Bell & Howell Model 179 Part 13817 film projector amplifier.
– Predecessor to the “Opti-onics” variant, and very similar to the Filmosound Model 621, the 179 chassis sports a pair of 6V6 power tubes, a 5Y3 rectifier tube, as well as, a 6SJ7 and a 6SN7. This classic combo makes for the perfect guitar amp.
– This example, serial number 105909, is in unrestored original condition, and based upon a couple of changed electrolytic capacitors, appears to have been most recently serviced in 1964. It’s the perfect candidate for a conversion project.
– The transformers are guaranteed to be in perfect working order.
– Includes an entire set of vintage tubes.
