– This 100% all original example, serial number 1805, is a no-issues specimen, with: no cracks, no repairs, and no modification whatsoever.
– Perhaps the most beautiful pre-war acoustic ever made, this elegant instruments is adorned with gorgeous gold leaf style floral vine decals all over the spruce top.
– It’s exquisite cosmetic beauty is perfectly complemented by the wonderful sound: it’s clear, articulate, balanced with perfect projection.
– Th X-braced body absolutely sings unlike any acoustic from the era: a perfect flat-picking and strumming guitar, it’s an overall masterpiece.
– Most akin to a pre-war Martin 00-28 grand concert acoustic, this pre-Tonk Brothers era Washburn features; red spruce Top, 3-Ply laminated Brazilian rosewood back/sides, a 14 1/4” body width, mahogany 12-Fret neck, 24 3/4” scale length, WIDE 1 13/16” nut width, ebony fretboard with snowflake inlays.
