- An incredible Les Paul, this original White Custom far outperforms subpar expensive reissues. A rare ’74 LP Custom that does NOT sport the 20th anniversary 12th fret marquetry, this is just like the Les Pauls made famous by Randy Rhoads and Steve Jones.
- It features; original nitrocellulose Alpine White finish, a sandwich construction Mahogany body, a 3-piece Mahogany neck, a perfectly matched pair of Pat. No. sticker T-Top humbuckers, an Ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays, non-original medium-jumbo frets, all gold hardware, “witch hat” knobs, and original black plastic parts/pickguard.
- The original CTS pots are date stamped 137 7408.
- Many years ago this guitar suffered a notorious headstock crack. Aside from the peghead damage and refret, this guitar is entirely original. The break is stable though not cosmetically addressed whatsoever. A proper repair will ultimately enhance this guitar’s value.
