– For your consideration is this vintage 1981 Daion The ’81G Gazelle acoustic electric guitar.
– This very excellent 100% all original example, serial number 281225D, includes the original hardshell case.
– An incredibly well-crafted instrument, this uniquely shaped jumbo-size acoustic features a treble bout cutaway and the signature sculptural scoop alongside the bottom of the body. The top is solid spruce, and the back/sides appear to be solid Indian Rosewood.
– The guitar is in very clean cosmetic condition with no breaks, no cracks, and no repairs. It does exhibit considerable fret wear. While it’s an issue-free example, like most Daion acoustics this guitar has a bad neck angle and will need a reset to be playable. The action at the 12th fret is quite high, however, open cowboy chords are accessible.

– Neck measurements: 1.711″ nut width, .914″ neck depth at 1st fret, 1.080″ neck depth at 12th fret.
