– For your consideration is this vintage 1957 Fender Telecaster electric guitar which which was factory refurbished in 1969.
– This rare 1-of-a-kind ’50s/’60s Tele, serial number 023533, began life as a 1957 Telecaster, and still retains: the original ’57 Tele neck, the original single-line Kluson Deluxe tuning machines, original ’57 neck plate, original ’57 pots, and original ’50s knurled control knobs.
– In 1969 it was returned to Fender’s Fulleton factory to be repaired/refinished/upgraded at which point an entirely original ’69 Tele body with no worm route factory finished in Lake Placid Blue was paired with a hybrid of ’69 parts alongside the aforementioned original ’57 components.
– The result is a wonderful feeling and wildly attractive Tele that sounds incredible.
– Unmodified otherwise, this is a completely Fender-made instrument. One-of-a-kind, this all original Tele is completely unique and there is no other example like it.
– NOTE: the ’69 LPB Tele is all original with NO refurbishment stamp, so it will perfectly restore or enhance a ’68-’70 Telecaster
– Upon returning to the Fender factory, a new CBS era logo was applied to the headstock of the ’57 Teoe neck, though the other hardware, nut, and frets were left untouched.
– The LPB Tele body was outfitted with modern ’69 electronics/pickups, aside from the pots and output jack.
– So, a late-’60s solid saddle bridge with corresponding late-’60s gray bobbin bridge pickup was installed by Fender.
– A late-’60s pearloid-backed thick profile wide bevel Tele guard was also mounted.

– Neck measurements: 1 19/36″ nut width, .875″ neck depth at 1st Fret is , .915″ neck depth at 12th Fret
