– For your consideration is this vintage 1960 Ampeg M-15 electric guitar tube combo amplifier.
– This very clean all original example with Navy Random Flair sparkle tolex covering, serial number 012108, was fully serviced and is being offered in studio-ready perfect working order.
– The original is incredibly intact though displaying wear and fatigue. The vast majority of surviving Ampeg M-15s have had their handles replaced. Somehow, this matching handle survived and it remains in 100% original cosmetic condition.
– The original Jensen P15N 15″ 8ohm AlNiCo speaker, stamped 220 045, retains its corresponding original cone.
– Both transformers are original and are preserved in incredibly crisp condition.
– It was fully re-capped and has had the power tubes replaced.
– The ’60 Ampeg M-15 is the 1st year of the 25-watt variant which features; 2 x 6L6GC power tubes, 1 x 5U4GB rectifier tube, and 3 x 6SL7 preamp tubes.
– The tremolo is uniquely Ampeg in fidelity and absolutely wonderful sounding.
– Controls: Volume and tone for each channel, tremolo intensity and speed, foot switch for tremolo
– Inputs: (3) Instrument inout jacks, (2) Accordion input jacks with (1) being Stereo.
