– For your consideration is this vintage 1981 Ibanez OD-850 Overdrive electric guitar effects pedal.
– This very nice 100% all original example, serial number 144811, is in nice cosmetic condition and perfect working order.
– While Maxon labeled this pedal as an Overdrive, it produces a distortion that is much more like a fuzz. It has (4) silicon transisotrs, and is schematically much more like an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff than an Ibanez Tube Screamer.
