– For your consideration is this vintage 1966 Fane 122/14 Heavy Duty Loudspeaker.
– This incredibly rare 12″ 22w 15ohm speaker is the exact same version found in Jimi Hendrix’s Sound City amp cabinets.
– One of four removed from a very early ’66 Hiwatt “split-script” cabinet, this early version never had neither a label nor sticker. This particular example is one of two from the same cabinet which are in excellent all original working condition. So, while not being sold together, a matching pair is available for purchase.
– The original 102 006 Pulsonic cone is in pristine original shape: works perfectly and sounds incredible. This is a highly musical, harmonically rich, and sweet sounding speaker.
– It measures 9.5Ω.
