– For your consideration is this vintage 1964 Fender Model 6G15 Reverb tube amplifier effects unit.
– This very nice original example, serial number R06927, was recently serviced and is currently studio-ready. It includes an original footswitch with brown cable.
– A very rare late production (mid-’64) blonde tolex cabinet with sparkle wheat grille, it retains a matching set of exclusively ’64 transformers.
– The tube chart stamp is unintelligible, though it likely left the factory in mid-’64. Oddly, it seems to have an early ’61 spring reverb tank within, possibly original.
– It has been professionally serviced, with the electrolytic and other caps having been replaced. Additionally, all tubes are vintage RCA era appropriate tubes.
– A perfect complement to any smooth blonde era Fender amp, and also just a must-have tube reverb unit.
