– For your consideration is this vintage 1965 Fender Mustang electric guitar body.
– This great player’s grade ’65 Mustang body has been both modified and refinished. While restoration is a possibility, it’s more easily re-appropriated for a project.
– While this slab body was original mated with a May of 1965 neck, it can be used to complement a 1964-1969 style slab body Mustang project.
– The original contours are decent and pretty much preserved under the amateur bright yellow refin. The bridge pickup cavity was enlarged to accommodate a humbucking pickup. Otherwise, all other routes are intact, and no additional screw holes were made.
