– This particular 100% all original example, serial number T80244, is in excellent cosmetic condition and includes the original two-tone chipboard case.
– According to the 1961 Supro catalog, the Belmont features a “Maroon No-Mar plastic” finish. Made with the same material as that which was used on many pearloid lap steels, the Belmont also features; a single bridge pickup, a robust single-coil pickup with a master volume/tone with “Bass-Treble” switch, a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and an adjustable compensated wood bridge. This guitar and case combo was listed as $110 in 1961.
