– For your consideration is this 2008 Gibson NR Firebird Custom Shop electric guitar.
– This exceptionally clean like new 100% all original example, serial number CS86581, includes the original black rectangular Custom Shop case, the original Certificate of Authenticity, and all corresponding paperwork.
– A rare discontinued and short-lived model, this is a wonderful reinterpretation of Gibson’s Non Reverse Firebird model. It’s much more of a practical player’s instrument than the original versions, as it has a tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.
– Finished in a seemingly white-washed TV White nitrocellulose finish, it’s a very attractive and understated aesthetic.
– Specifications: solid Mahogany body, 1-piece Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard, C-profile neck with 12″ radius, set-in neck (set neck) construction, unbound neck, dot inlays, (3) single-coil Gibson P-90 pickups, 3-way toggle (neck, middle + bridge, bridge), volume/tone controls for neck and bridge pickups, Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case.
– Neck measurements: 1.695″ nut width, .848″ neck depth at 1st fret, .968″ depth at 12th fret.
