– For your consideration is this vintage 1971 Fender Jazz Bass electric bass guitar body.
– This very nice all original 4-bolt example features a very attractive original custom color Olympic White polyurethane finish.
– The neck pocket is half-painted and ink-stamped “T Chambers” which is a detail found in many ’71 bodies of all Fender models, as Chambers only worked at Fender from 1969 to 1971.
– It includes all (3) of the original shielding plates and various original plastic ground wires.
– It was separated from a player’s grade Jazz Bass that had a pre-CBS Jazz Bass neck attached, which has several modifications to the neck and electronics. It will appropriately restore any 1969-1971 Jazz Bass.
– This all original 4-bolt Alder body appears to have extra holes from a non-original thumb rest, as it originally only came outfitted with a finger rest. There is some inordinate fading around the original bridge holes which suggest a non-original bridge was installed, though it did not necessitate extra holes.
