– For your consideration is this vintage 1968 Vox V828 Tone Bender fuzz effects pedal.
– This very nice all original example, serial number 1566881, is the 2nd generation “Made in Italy for Thomas Organ” version, which has a black crinkle coat finish with an aluminum control panel.
– Like most of Italian made Tone Benders with grey and black enclosures, this pedal features SFT 337 & SFT 363E transistors.
– It works perfectly and sounds killer: producing that classic ’60s stringy distortion.
