– For your consideration is this vintage 1967 Universal Amplifier Corp. Astro Amp Astrotone fuzz effects pedal.
– This is a very nice original example of an incredibly rare fuzz pedal.
– This exact pedal is featured and discussed on the fuzzboxes.org website. Specifically, images of this unit are posted to illustrate the subtle differences between the late-’66 version 1 Astrotone, and the early-’67 version 2 Astrotone.
– One corner of the phenolic board displays a chip, though it does not affect functionality or the structural integrity of the circuit board.
– The 9v battery terminal has been replaced.
